Dr. Scott Covington
A general surgeon with over 30 years of wound care experience, Dr. Covington lectures throughout the U.S. and internationally on wound care and hyperbaric medicine. He serves as an advisor on wound related issues to both industry and governmental leaders. As Chief Medical Officer and Director of Wound Care Education for Healogics, Dr. Covington played a pivotal role in training and mentoring thousands of physicians and nurses, advancing clinical excellence in wound care. A certified Hyperbaric and Wound Specialist with the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine and an active member of the Wound Healing Society, Dr. Covington continues to contribute
significantly to medical education.
Dr. Michael Lusko
Dr. Lusko has 47 years of wound care and medical experience. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Wound Care Management as well as the American Board of Wound Healing. Additionally, he is board-certified in Hyperbaric Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He has held a wide variety of leadership and medical director level positions in wound care and with his experience is skilled in evaluating the merits of even the most difficult wound care cases. He has presented at national conferences on this topic and has served as Medical Director for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars Critical Care Team.
Dr. Paul Johnson
Dr. Johnson has more than 20 years of experience in wound care and family practice. He practiced medicine in Montana for over 17 years, providing care to local communities, schools, sports teams, and law enforcement agencies. Dr. Johnson serves as the medical director of hyperbaric medicine at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach. He is board-certified in Hyperbaric and Dive Medicine and Family Practice, with a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Johnson completed his medical training at the University of North Dakota with his Family Practice residency in South Bend, Indiana. He is a Diplomate, American Board of Wound Management.
